Malee

Those who eat at Dengkil, Selangor surely now Malee Restaurant. My friends and I was having our dinner when we saw a kitten, skinny to the max, bulging tummy, face full of mange, legs and tails full of fungus infection, so scared, and hungry that she runs back and forth in front of us. She wanna find food, but she's scared of the passer-by. We were eating, all of sudden she runs under our table. We feed her fish. She was so hungry, she finish it within half a blink. Then she starts cheek rubbing our foot. It's a sign of respect.

Then we decided to bring her back home. Named her Malee. Her whiskers was cut off. People believe that by cutting off cat whiskers before dumping them will stop their cat from finding way back home - WHICH IS TOTALLY WRONG. Cat's don't find their way back home by whiskers-sensing.. There is no GPS at the tip of their whiskers. It's their nose. Cat's find their way back home to any other place that they wanna go by smell, scent. That is why cats do territory marking by urinating, spraying, feceate, or cheek-rubbing. Whiskers is for them to measure a hole - to know whether they can get through a hole or not.

Malee is on medication. After she finishes her third Mange jab, she'll be up for adoption.
