Think again

We always say "Think before you throw" for recycle campaign, well I wanna say "Think before you throw... your pet."

Some say, "cats are animals. They know how to survive, don't worry. Look at those strays out there, they are looking good and kickin' well. So it's ok to put my cats at the wet market, or restaurant because they have plenty source of food."

There are 2 types of cats:-

Home cat - warm bed to sleep, just walk to my bowl and there's my delicious food.

Stray cat - homeless. If found food, I eat. If no food, I starve. I'll be wet during heavy rain, and I drink any water I can find. No matter it's muddy, dirty, or yucky.

Stray cat has the so called super immune system where if they drink soap water, or eat rotten garbage, they are still fine and looking good. They are born homeless and learn by nature how to search and fight for food, learn how to survive the wild dogs, as they grew up, the see what happens to their friends and family - so they learn the tips and tricks to survive in this cruel world. Way back 3 years ago, there's a stray tomcat, I call him Jantan. Use to feed him everyday. His right leg was twisted abit, might be recover naturally from broken leg, his right eye was missing, and he is totally dirty. He survived lots of wild dogs attacks, and those busy roads. I always fear for his safety, til one day, he never shows up at all..

So why can't you throw pet?

Because homecat don't need to fight for food, or fight for bed. They have nice, clean, healthy food to eat. Clean and fresh water to drink everyday. Their body are not trainned to accept rotten food, dirty or soapy water, what to say the skill of fighting with stray warriors. They'll either ended up dead bitten by other strays, dead eaten by wild dogs, road kills, die of sickness or dead of fear and hunger.

Imagine you - who has the easy life becomes a homeless person. Eat leftovers, house made of box, cold night, insecure, scared....

Please, Think before you throw.
