One eye jane

Past 2 weeks, Lea's eye suddenly bulges like it wanna popout so we bought her to the vet. I taught she was playing with the others and accidentally hurt her eye , but i was wrong, vet told me she's having glaucoma and she need to be operated immediately. Poor Lea, after the vet issue, now she need to remove her right eye, but i was surprised to see, though her eye is sticking out, she still can run, play, eat, jumping around.. i wonder doesn't Lea feel the pain?

Next day, vet called to inform us that Lea has recover from the anesthetic and we can pick her up. We asked her, how is she doing? And the vet happily answered, she's jumping around.. Oh my Lea!! The fees cost us RM245 and she need to be caged til she recovers. Though she's in the cage, she was jumping, climbing the bars, screaming "i wanna go out!!". After her wound fully recover, we let her roam freely. Having 1 eye is not easy for Lea, especially balancing and targeting as she has blind spot. So there's alot of funny scenes where she bumps things, walk and fall. But she get use to it quickly enough that it takes her 4days to master the skill. Now, she's catching butterflies, climbing the stairs, wrestle others, and she runs pretty fast and she can pass through a small hole perfectly..while running ok..

Lea really open our eyes. Though she has one eye, sick and all, she still enjoys her life. She teaches me to accept fate and be tough facing the challenges in life. No matter what, life comes once, enjoy it.
