Yesterday, I was late to class. D.C, Panjang, and Adek runout from the house. Assuming they will climb into my bedroom after playing at the parking bay, so I just leave them. Back from class, I saw poo everywhere. Must be they bumped stray. At home, everyone's around, except D.C. Assuming D.C is playing at the garden or playground, I just leave him. It's night, still no sign of D.C
The next morning, usually D.C will be the first to greet me "Breakfast!!!", but instead of D.C, Pendek greets me. After my class, a pregnant stray asking for food infront of my door, so when she meow "Food!!", I heard other meow nearby. Oh! It's D.C with his leg hurt inside the drain. He can't climb up because it's too deep and he's hurt. Luckily I managed to lift up the heavy metal which cover up the drain and try to reach for him. He was scared! He don't even recognize me ok!! When I went into the small drain, he run and hide in the drain pipe which connects to the monsoon drain. The drain is one half of my size so it's hard for me to bend down to pick him up.
I bait D.C with whiskas wet food. Let he feel tempted with the aroma. Bet he's hungry! I waited at one corner till he come out to eat it. At first he reluctant to come out from the pipe. After a few minutes of D.C starring at me, he come out to eat the wet food. Then slowly without he realizing, i pick him up and climb out from the drain. Luckily the drain is not wet! At home, he eats alot, then sleep.
After my afternoon class, I bring him to vet. Luckily nothing is broken. Just terseliuh. His meds cost RM30. Phew! Vet give him painkiller and anti inflammatory, and he need to be caged for 5days. Yeah! hopefully you insaf D.C!!
